Helping people build purposeful futures.
We bring people together to learn, find direction and build the relationships that help them move forward.

Learning. Conversation. Connection.
The foundation of our growing network
Our work begins with people.
OUR FOUNDING STORY
A gathering that gave the network a beginning.
The Becoming Global Summit brought people together in Kitchener on July 4, 2026 around a shared theme: Equipping a Generation for Global Purpose.
These photographs document people listening, reflecting and learning together. They show the community from which TBGN is growing.
The 2026 gathering was delivered under The Royals / Potter’s House, before TBGN’s establishment as a separate organization.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity needs a pathway.
Qualifications and ambition do not always translate into work that matches a person’s capabilities. We are developing practical learning and community connections to respond to that gap.
32.6%
of recent immigrant workers reported being overqualified for their job.
19.1%
of workers born in Canada reported being overqualified.
Canadian workers aged 25–54 with postsecondary education; combined September 2024 and 2025 data. “Recent immigrants” means permanent residents admitted within the previous five years. These figures describe the national need, rather than TBGN outcomes.

FROM A GATHERING TO ONGOING COMMUNITY
Learning that continues beyond the room.
Gather through the Summit
Our flagship gathering creates space for shared ideas, reflection and connection.
Learn through Becoming Labs
Our current learning and experimentation platform is being developed around real needs and practical follow-through.
Contribute through the network
Experienced professionals, churches, volunteers and community partners can help emerging people find direction and opportunity.
OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCOUNTABILITY
Show the work. Learn from it. Report honestly.
We are building our evidence from event records, photographs, participant feedback and follow-up learning. As our programs develop, we will publish verified participation and results with the context needed to understand them.
Help create more pathways to opportunity.
Share your experience, volunteer your skills or partner with us to build practical learning and stronger community connections.
